Adoration Cancelation Policies

In the event of bad weather, the following policies apply to the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Divine Mercy Chapel:

• If, due to weather, the Xavier Catholic School System and/or Cedar Rapids Community School District are on a 2-hour delay, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed beginning at 12:00pm.
• If, due to weather, the Xavier Catholic School System and/or Cedar Rapids Community School District are releasing early, the Blessed Sacrament will be reposed to the nearest hour.
• If, due to weather, the Xavier Catholic School System and/or Cedar Rapids Community School District are closed for the day, the Blessed Sacrament will not be exposed.

A Flocknote message and Social Media post will be shared announcing any adjustments to the Exposition schedule.

The Divine Mercy Chapel is accessible during normal hours (6:30am-9:00pm, with the code) for private prayer and devotion, whether or not the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.
