![]() | Baptism of Infants Infants are baptized into the faith community of their parents. As the faith community assists the baptized through prayer and support, it is necessary for the parents asking for baptism to be members of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Baptism Preparation (Required) Parents of infants are required to attend a Baptism Preparation Session prior to the baptism of their child. Baptism of Children/Youth of School-Age Parents of children 3-years-old or older needing to be baptized should contact Geralyn Ward (gward@stpatrickscr.org) for more information. Baptism of Adults Prior to the baptism of adults, formation through RCIA is required. Adult baptisms are usually celebrated during the Easter Vigil.
