Funeral Mass for Judy Kane

Thursday, December 12, 2024, 10:30 AM - 11:30 PMJudy (Kress) A. Kane, age 81, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away at the West Ridge Care Center on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
A visitation will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 9:30 AM until Mass time at 10:30 AM with Fr. Dennis Miller presiding. A private inurnment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date.
Judy was born on April 14, 1943, in Dubuque, IA. She was the daughter of the late Art and Jean (Pins) Kress. On May 16, 1964, Judy married the love of her life, David Kane. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
Those left to cherish Judy’s memory are her children, Stephen (Robin) Kane, of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Mark (Stephanie) Kane, of Florida; her grandchildren, Natalie (Matt) Tunnicliffe, Jeremy Kane, Kamberly Kane, Shayla Kane, and Kearra (Kobe) Morrison; her great-grandchildren, Kane and Waylon Tunnicliffe; a sister, Linda (Mark) Noble, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and her parents.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the West Ridge Care Center and St. Croix Hospice for all the love and support they showed Judy while she was in their care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
