Renee Ann Richardson Stramel was born on January 27th, 1943. Renee was the daughter of Ralph and Gretta Richardson. She had 3 loving sisters, Ruth Hoglund, Lois Wharton, and Millie Baker. Renee married Robert Stramel on November 24th, 1962. They were high school sweethearts. From their loving fifty one years of marriage came two sons, Jed and Mathew, and two daughter-in-laws, Anne and Michelle. Renee adored and cherished her three grandchildren, Krista, Jessica, and Isaac, and two great-grandchildren, Maren and Evelyn. Renee was also very proud of her grandson-in-law, Mike.
Anyone who knew Renee knew her children and grandchildren were her life, and she deeply loved each of them. Renee, in later years, found companionship with her “special friend” she called him, Russell Nading. Russ and Renee spent nearly ten years creating beautiful memories in all their adventures. Renee was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, including a special group of “forever friends” they called themselves.
Renee was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and her love for and Faith in God was very important to her. Renee was called home by our Heavenly Father on December 20, 2023. To know Renee, was to love her. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 28 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
