Mental Illness Awareness Mass

Join us for this special Mass held in recognition of Mental Illness Awareness Week for persons with mental health challenges, their families, parishioners, and mental health providers in our community. 

Following Mass, a reception will be held in the Leonard Cox Parish Hall where attendees will listen to a brief presentation by Jackie Smith Duggan, Director, Crisis Stabilization of Abbe Health, about the Linn County Access Center. Jackie will share information on dealing with mental health challenges, community resources, and how the Access Center assists individuals in a mental health crisis.

All are welcome to come together in prayer. The Mass is part of a broader effort to de-stigmatize mental illness and promote emotional health during Mental Illness Awareness Week. By raising awareness and encouraging open ​conversations, we hope to create a more inclusive and supportive environment.
