Vespers for the Solemnity of Christ the King

Pray with us at Vespers I (Evening Prayer I) from Liturgy of the Hours for the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe!

The Liturgy of the Hours (or Divine Office) is the official public prayer of the Church Universal. This prayer is not just reserved for ordained clergy. Second Vatican Council encouraged all the lay faithful to participate in this beautiful and ancient prayer marking the hours of the day with prayer over the Psalms and other scriptures, united with the Church around the world.

In an effort to help elevate the celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, St. Patrick is thrilled to offer the opportunity to pray Vespers I in community following the 4:00pm Mass on Saturday, November 25! Prior knowledge of how to pray Liturgy of the Hours is not needed, guides will be available.
